As he told Bloomberg, "There are more opportunities to find loans that generate better returns for lenders. ABL is a fragmented market and lenders have good negotiating power and protections on loans unlike the broader direct lending market. That protection comes from physical collateral which is attractive to investors due to its identifiable value.”
